Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

  • An aneurysm is a swelling of an artery, which continues to expand if left untreated. Aneurysms of the aorta, the main blood vessel in the body, are not uncommon and may pass unnoticed until they rupture.

         

Peripheral Vascular Disease

  • Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) refers to the development of narrowing and blockage of the arteries of the limbs.

    Your risk of vascular disease increases if you are a diabetic. You also increase your risk of developing PAD if you have high blood pressure, if you smoke, don't exercise, are overweight or eat a high-fat diet.

 

Stroke

  • Many strokes are related to disease in the arteries of the neck (carotid arteries). Early intervention is vital in preventing future strokes.

 

Varicose Veins

  • Varicose veins are swollen and enlarged veins that are usually blue or dark purple. They may also be lumpy, bulging or twisted in appearance.

 

Hyperhidrosis

  • Hyperhidrosis is a condition that causes excessive sweating. While hyperhidrosis does not pose a serious threat to health, it can cause significant emotional and psychological distress, embarrassment and can have a negative impact on a person’s quality of life.
