There is a lot of help about, but sometimes it is the first step which is the hardest. Don't try to do it on your own. There is a national stop smoking website www.smokefree.nhs.uk which can offer you 'Quit Kits', a calculator to show how much you are spending and motivation.
More local help is available for East Kent, West Kent and Medway. Here you will find a range of services available to help you go smokefree allowing you to choose an approach which suits your lifestyle. For example, you may wish to attend a local course to share experiences with others face to face, have telephone or one to one support or alternatively you could attend a virtual group online. Either way, you still receive the expert help of a specialist and all the support you need.
